Beebe Law, PLLC

At Beebe Law, PLLC we understand that "business as usual" can sometimes be a little less than "usual" and if you are a small business, you likely don't have the budget to have a full-time on-staff attorney just waiting to address any and all business and legal issues that come up.  That is a key point too - In-House counsel doesn't just advise on the law but also considers business operations as a whole.  Most small businesses are scrappy by nature and run on pure "I'll figure it out as I go" drive and ambition.  Trial and error is a great way to learn and gain experience which turns into wisdom, but what if you could help minimize costly mistakes and lost opportunities simply by having a trusted advisor essentially on what would be today's equivalent of speed dial?  Wouldn't it be better to try and avoid those things in the first place?  Think of it as a shortcut on your path to success.

No entrepreneur operating a business, especially if you are considering operating a website as your business model, is "too small" or "too new" to take advantage of our Outside In-House Counsel Service. In fact, in our experience, the sooner you can establish a relationship with your legal counsel, the better!  Nothing is worse than getting far down a path, extending valuable time and scarce resources, only to find out later that something you were doing is a legal liability or worse, something that resulted in unnecessary litigation. If only we had a dollar for every time we heard a new client say something along the lines of: "Where were you BEFORE this happened? If I knew you before, I could have saved myself a lot of money and headache!"  Arguably, it is definitely more beneficial to be proactive when it comes to legal advisor involvement than being reactive - after the poo has already hit the fan - and you're faced with surprise legal bills to address the problem.  We want you to avoid all the mess in the first place.

WHAT IS THE COST FOR THE OUTSIDE IN-HOUSE COUNSEL SERVICE?

We recognize that every business is different and your needs will be unique to your business.  We do not take a "one size fits all" approach like other generic pre-paid legal programs who aren't lawyers that actually know your business and we aren't going to charge you for services that you aren't going to need.  We also know that businesses may come to us at various stages - like the early concept/planning stage, the early operating stage, or the long term existing business stage.  As such, we like to start relatively small and if you need to add things on "ala carte" on top of a base monthly fee for a set term, you have the flexibility to do that - most services can be added and billed at a discounted rate for our Outside In-House Counsel Services.
